RedWood Ninja-to Chokuto - 1095CS - Clay Tempered - Real Horn Fittings

This Ninja-to is handforged with amazing precision from 1095 HighCarbon steel in the Maru style and has been clay tempered absolutely beautifully.

Suitable for the hands of a professional only, in martial arts demonstrations and for the walls / swords cabinets/racks of collectors.

The 1095 High Carbon Steel blade features beautiful tempering work along the whole length of the blade and no bo-hi (lightening groove) making it a fuller feeling blade, sharpened to medium/sharp edge and stunning to behold.

The beautiful real hammon on the blade is the result of the artist applying clay to the blade & differentially cooling it  (quenching and tempering) to form the gorgeous wave pattern shown.

The blade itself is a KIRIHA-ZUKURI shape & the tip is a rare KAMASU-Kissaki style.

No Tsuba (handguard).

The polished redwood saya is absolutely beautiful and features hand crafted genuine buffalo-horn fittings both on the saya itself and also are used for the mekugi pins through the dual tang tsuka.

This is a gorgeous Ninja-to , made from the earth - polished using mutliple grade Japanese stones in the Japanese method is as real as it gets.

Smooth clean lines, beautiful real horn fittings, real clay tempering / hammon line all the way through to the boshi on a stunning maru style 1095 High Carbon Steel producing a much stronger and finer edge and also helping with edge retention.

These are limited, and absolutely classic peices that must be seen!.

The weight is 1.4kg (inc saya)
