Hayago Doran - Samurai Ammo Box
Hayago Doran (ammo belt box) are Japanese matchlock rifle (teppo) ammo/cartridge boxes which were used by both Samurai and Ashigaru teppo tai (rifle men).
The hayago doran are typically made from leather and are carried on the right hip of the teppo gunner. The doran would typically hold between 8 to 14 hayago (quick loading tubes) along with kit required for shooting.
